TIME MANAGEMENT IN PTE ACADEMIC


In the competitive world, learning is an ongoing process and we all learn something new at every stage of life. Human beings are tested at each level in life to find out if they have developed the crucial competency skills required to survive in life.

Time plays an important role in the process of learning at every stage. Thus, if you want to achieve success in life, it is important to learn time management skills.

 Here, we will talk about time management in the PTE ACADEMIC test.

PTE is a language test used to assess the communicative skills of candidates seeking to study or work abroad. The test measures the ability of candidates to use and understand the English language. While appearing in the test, candidates are required to keep a check on time.
Here are a few tips for you while attempting your PTE Academic test.


ü  Always remember that in the Speaking section, the timer keeps on running. Thus, it is very important to speak within the given time limit.
ü  For the Reading section, you really should focus on time. During your practice sessions, keep a track of the questions in which you face difficulty. Try to answer those questions in the set time, and increase your speed slowly.
ü  In essay writing and summarize spoken text section, you can manage the time by regularly practising with a timer.
ü  Always remember to pay attention to the audio in the listening section, as it will not be played again. So, if the time is over for answering a question, do not waste any further time over it. Stay calm and focus on answering the next question.

Ultimately, it all boils down to regularly practising the test using a timer. The practice tests are designed to be similar to the actual tests, so that you can prepare well for the final day.
