Tips to prepare for IELTS Writing Test

IELTS Writing task lasts for 60 minutes. The test includes 2 tasks. You are required to write a minimum of 150 words for Task 1 and 250 words for task 2. The test is conducted to assess your ability to write effectively in English. The test is assessed on the basis of content written, organization of the ideas, use of vocabulary, and, range of grammar used by you. It is very important to practice the Writing Test regularly as it plays a predominant role in your overall IELTS band requirement. Here are some tips that will help you with the preparation of IELTS Writing TEST. Properly analyse each tasks and spend some time in preparing notes for the same.  Always plan your answers.  Remember to highlight the keywords in the task so that you do not lose focus on what you have to do. It is recommended to use paragraphs clearly. Make it a habit to put one idea in each paragraph. Never copy the same sentence from the question. You will not be allotted any marks for doing so.

PREPARATION OF IELTS READING

The reading test lasts for 60 minutes. This test contains 3 sections with a total of 40 questions. You are also required to transfer the answers onto a given answer sheet within the given time limit. The test is used to assess your ability to read and grasp the main idea behind the text accurately. Thus, to prepare for Reading test you need to practice it daily with acute attention.
